Payment Terms: Your total amount is due on or before the event day or as mentioned on the quote/invoice. We accept bank transfer/cash/after pay*terms and conditions apply. No Credit or other payment methods.
Any refunds will be only allowed as per the refund policy of happenings wellington . The deposit is to reserve the date agreed upon, and not make any other reservations for the properties used and for the technicians and required staff members time. This contract between Happenings Wellington and the Client shall not become effective until the deposit amount has been paid Terms & Conditions 1. Exclusive decorators and lights and sounds contractors: It is understood that Happenings wellington will be the exclusive wedding decorators and lights and sounds contractors contracted by the Client for the purpose of wedding decor and lighting and sounds of the event(s). Family, friends and attendees will be permitted to do decor at the event as long as they do not interfere with the duties and do not obstruct the agreed plan ( Or with mutual agreement between client and happenings wellington) 2. Bad Weather: If we have bad weather on the event day . Happenings wellington will try all possible ways to achieve the above agreed services . Any changes arising from the bad weather shall be discussed with the client . 3. Failure to Perform: If Happenings Wellington / Client cannot perform this agreement due to fire, casualty, illness or any other cause beyond both parties control, then Happenings Wellington shall return money paid according to refund policy and shall have no further liability with Happenings Wellington respect to this contract. In the event that Happenings Wellington cannot perform for any other reason, Happenings Wellington shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the value paid by the Client. 4. Safety:
Happenings Wellington reserves to right to terminate service at any point, from the planning phase till execution if we experience any toxic or abusive behavior from the client. We have every right to leave the location of the EVENT(S) if the staff and technicians from Happenings Wellington Experiences inappropriate, threatening, hostile or offensive behavior from person(s) at the EVENT(S); or in the event that the safety of the staff and technicians from Happenings Wellington is in question. Happenings Wellington shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the value paid by the Client.
5. Set Up Time , removal time and access : The Client and Happenings wellington agree that cooperation and punctuality are essential to accomplish the goals and wishes of all parties. Client agrees to give access or get necessary permissions to access the event area for setup and removal of the décor , lights and sounds equipment . Client also agrees to get enough time for the setup of the area and also arrange power requirements for the setup (unless this is mentioned in the contract ) 6. Décor items and sounds equipment , External Hire items : Client hereby agrees to be liable for cost of any repair of the damage or replacement of the equipment ,hire items or external hired items due to any circumstances arising during the entire period of hire until the removal time . Normal wear and tear is an exception . Happening Wellington will report any serious damages (if needed) to the client by the end of the removal day (7pm). Happenings wellington must talk to the client regarding any restrictions of entry or any other rules that any staff members or technicians follow during the entire period of time.
Our Cancellation and refund Policy
We only take limited booking for each week, we may have turned back many of our event/hire requests for the day when it’s booked out .For this reason, we request that you cancel at least 4 weeks before your scheduled event. This will allow us to offer your spot to another Customer. You may call us at 0274728778 between the hours of 8am-5pm to cancel. Please note, More than 2 weeks notice- we offer 80%refunds / full credit towards your next event (subjected to availability of the hire products and other agreed set ups ) 2 weeks notice –50% refund / 50% credit towards your next event.(subjected to availability of the hire products and other agreed set ups ) If you do not cancel with at least 2 weeks notice, unfortunately you will lose any payments you have already made and no future credit . Happenings Wellington / Client cannot perform this agreement due to fire, casualty, illness or any other cause beyond both parties control, then Happenings Wellington shall return 80 Percent of the deposit money . **Covid Lockdown exemption ** Any event cancelled due to regional Covid lockdown level 3 or more(level 2 we can still gather 100 people- Covid cancelation policy doesn’t apply in this case) will recieve full refund. *National lockdown , level 3 or more ,will get a full refund. ( * regional means wellington as we operate in wellington region )
